physical and learning disabilities:
- Serves as an information and resource center
- Provides on request, audio tapes of unrecorded print materials
- Through its Fifty Great Stories Program, duplicates cassette
tapes of the Classics and provides them without charge to visually
handicapped persons in the community desiring to build their own
libraries.
2nd SIGHT's volunteers reside primarily in the Martin County area.
Many are retirees who have had professional experience in the theater
the broadcast media, but most gain their training and experience
at the Studio. A few are themselves, visually impaired.
