Volunteer

Volunteers are a special breed that are not in a minority. In 1999 a Gallup poll indicated that, in the US, 55.6 percent of adults aged 18 or over volunteered a total of 19.9 billion hours to causes they believed in. Each contribution and each volunteered action was a non-verbalized, and often unrealized statement that as individuals and as a society, we care. It is the friendly wave from an unknown neighbor.

Our focus at 2nd Sight is in giving the gift of reading to those who cannot read because of visual, physical or learning disabilities . If this is a cause you find worthy, please take the time to let us know.

There is so much that can be done and help is always appreciated.

• Review tapes for errors
• Operate recording equipment
• Prepare tapes for mailing
• Any other service of which you have a talent
