NEW MEMBER INFORMATION

Welcome to the Tri County Computer User Group. We hope you will take advantage of the opportunities the club offers.

Meetings

Monthly Meeting is the First Tuesday of every month (unless this falls on a holiday) at the South Port Middle School, 2420 Morningside Blvd., Port St. Lucie.

Board of Directors Meeting the third Tuesday of every month, 7 PM at the "SIG site", Sandpiper Plaza. All members welcome.

Membership

No membership cards are issued.

Name badges will be mailed to you along with a welcome letter when you become a new member. We wish all members to have, and wear, their Name Badges. In the past, many have not been picked up because they were available only at the Monthly Meetings. We shall now make things easier for members by mailing them.

"Bits & Bytes", our monthly newsletter is mailed to all members.

You are responsible for paying your $35 annual dues on the anniversary of the month you join. Renewal date is printed on the mailing label of Bits & Bytes.
Pay Membership Chairman at monthly meeting by check, mail check, payable to TCCUG to P.O. Box 7414, Port St. Lucie, FL 34985-7414.

You are responsible for notifying the Membership Chairman of temporary or permanent changes of address and/or email address. Send email to: rjones01@peoplepc.com. .

Rules at the SIG Site

Please, no food or drink. This will keep our place bug-free.

Please park on the south side of the parking lot, away from the Casa Stefano Restaurant. This is the favored tenant, who pays the highest rent. Our landlord gives us low rent with the condition that we make room for the restaurant's customers.

SIGs or Special Interest Groups

These groups meet once a month. Anyone is free to attend. No advance registration is necessary. See the calendar and write-ups in the newsletter, "Bits& Bytes", or on our website www.tccug.org. SIGs specialize in such topics as Windows, Internet, Investment, Genealogy, etc. These meet usually at Sandpiper Plaza, but some meet at libraries. See "Bits & Bytes" or our website for details.

Classes

From time to time courses of two or more lessons are given on consecutive weeks. They may be on Photo Enhancement, Word Processing, Computing 101 (a beginning computer course) or other topics. If advance registration is required it will be announced. These meet at Sandpiper Plaza.

Computer Lab

Computer Lab now meets at our meeting place, Sandpiper Plaza, Port St. Lucie and meets every Wednesday from 7-9 PM. Experienced club members help new computer users on individual problems. This is the only "hands on" instruction we are able to offer.

Bits & Bytes

This is the club's monthly newsletter. Check the calendar for club activities. It also carries interesting articles and product reviews.

tccug.org

This is the club's web site. It carries not only an online version of "Bits & Bytes", but many other articles of interest. There are links to advertisers and valuable web sites. The online calendar is also the best source of up-to-date information on SIG schedules.

Helpline

Send your computer-related questions to Helpline by email and get answers from other members. To subscribe to Helpline, go to the club website tccug.org for information on subscribing.

Newsflash

This is the club's way of communicating breaking news to all club members by email. As a member of TCCUG you are on the Newsflash mailing list. If you change your email address, go to the club web site tccug.org for information on notifying the membership chairman of your change so you will not miss important announcements.

Badges

New members will receive their Name Badges by mail shortly after they join.

NOTICE: Please look carefully among you possessions for your old Name Badge before asking for a replacement. If you need a Name Badge and can't find it at Sandpiper Plaza, please contact Jack Rothermel at 334-5677.
