287-8684. Word Processing is for typing documents. Database is for organizing information such and names and addresses. Database is used with word processing to do mail merges. Learn these programs in time to mail your holiday greetings. Word Processing and Database are the only courses for which advance registration is required. This is because handouts are given to you and they are specific to the version of MS Works, MS Word or Excel on your computer. Please phone leader, Virginia O'Neill at 287-8684 after October 6 to register and to tell her what handout to have for you. If you aren't sure what word processing or database programs are on your computer, be sure to have your computer turned on when you phone so Virginia can help you find it. Members who have previously attended these courses are welcome to come for a refresher. Please use your old handouts.
